Thank you to all those that took part in the
raffle, and well done to those that won a prize. The current running total,
after player donations, profits on the food & raffle is just over £2,000 on the
day (and quite a few sore heads). We do have one final opportunity to donate a
bit more tonight though.
Roots of Hardwick
have kindly donated a helicopter ride over London for 4 people, taking off and
returning from the place of choice around the Buckingham area. The only limiting
factor is the combined weight of equal or less than 50 stone is all the chopper
can take! Hence, this prize will not suit really big old units. The value of
this on the open market is ~£1,500. Roots of Hardwick aren’t demanding we raise
this amount but would prefer us to raise a ‘reasonable amount’, and have put a
reserve on this.
The prize will be auctioned after the main
course tonight and we hope you can find the generosity to bid for what is a trip
of a lifetime.
